Cyprus has always been a place where cultures meet, where stories intertwine, and where art finds new ways to express itself. From ancient mosaics to contemporary murals, from folk melodies to experimental soundscapes, creativity runs deep in the island’s soul. Yet, despite this richness, many artists struggle to find the resources, collaborations, and platforms they need to grow. At the same time, audiences often find it difficult to access or discover the work of local artists, leaving a gap between creators and the community around them.
Nestopia was born out of this need. A creative digital and physical space that unites and showcases artists, promotes collaboration, and strengthens artistic development and networking. It is a space where creativity is nurtured, boundaries are pushed, and the artistic community thrives. Our goal is not only to connect artists with one another, but also to bridge the gap between creators and the public, fostering a dynamic exchange that brings art to life and invites active participation from all.
What we do
Nestopia operates from a small, vibrant space in the heart of Nicosia’s city center, serving as a creative hub. As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to supporting the local artistic community and open to any kind of support that helps us achieve our mission. We are launching with a strong digital presence, featuring a monthly spotlight on local artists. Each month is devoted to three artists, who will come to our space to create content with our support. Our space is also dedicated to displaying artwork from various artists, giving them a platform to showcase their work in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment.
Additionally, we have our own line of merchandise and also sell the merchandise of artists, providing them with an opportunity to reach a wider audience and share their creations. Beyond our digital initiatives, our space is available for creatives to rent for projects or to host classes, workshops, and seminars. We’re also open to hosting small, intimate events (5–10 people) and welcome ideas and proposals for unique gatherings. Nestopia is a flexible, dynamic environment designed to nurture creativity, connect the artistic community, and welcome support from all who share our vision.

Giorgos Papakonstantinou is a Cypriot writer and poet, and co-founder of Nestopia. With a background in literature and creative writing, his work explores themes of identity, belonging, and collective memory. Through Nestopia, he aims to foster meaningful dialogue between artists and audiences, supporting the growth of an engaged and inclusive cultural landscape in Cyprus.

Savvas Chrysostomou is a Cypriot singer-songwriter and graduate of Leeds Beckett University in Music Production and Performance. Founder of the project Sais, he explores the Cypriot dialect through a fusion of psychedelic and rock sounds, creating a distinctive musical identity. Alongside his work as a performer and composer for theatre and interdisciplinary productions, he is also co-founder of Nestopia Creative Hub, where he is dedicated to fostering collaboration among artists, strengthening the local creative community, and promoting authentic artistic work in Cyprus.

Katerina is a cultural project manager and co-founder of Nestopia. She studied International Management and holds a Master’s in Design and Innovation Management, bringing together strategic and creative approaches in her work. With experience in project management in theatre and NGO administration, she is committed to supporting local artists and nurturing a vibrant cultural community in Cyprus through Nestopia.
