Kostas Silvestros graduated from the Karolos Koun Art Theatre Drama School in 2012. As an actor, he has performed and starred in dozens of productions in Greece and Cyprus. As a director, he has collaborated with many theatres and major festivals in Cyprus, such as the International Festival of Ancient Greek Drama, the Nicosia International Festival, the International Festival Kypria, THOC, ETHAL, Antilogos Theatre, ARTos Foundation, Dionysos Theatre, Hammbroduction, Solo for Three, Dendro Theatre, Humart, among others.

Awards & Distinctions: - Best Director Award for the production Plutus by Aristophanes (International Festival of Ancient Greek Drama) at the Cyprus Theatre Awards for the 2015–2016 theatrical season. For the same production, he was also nominated in the category of text/adaptation. - “New Creator of the Year” Award at the THOC Awards for his directing work in 2020. - Best Director Award at the Maltepe International Festival in Istanbul for the bi-communal production Waiting for Godot. - Best Performance Award for the production STILL at the “Bitolino” International Festival in North Macedonia. - Best Performance Award for the production STILL in the “International Excellent Children’s Drama” program of the National Theatre for Children of China. In March 2023, he was selected by the International Theatre Institute, following a proposal by the Cyprus Centre of the International Theatre Institute, to represent Cyprus at the celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of the International Theatre Institute. The event featured 37 young artists from around the world, who had the opportunity to present part of their work. The production Still, which he directed, has been presented at international festivals in Armenia, Tunisia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, China, Athens, Uzbekistan, and Hungary.

In 2026, he served as the Artistic Director of the Opening Ceremony of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
